Scotland's first 'Artic Day' - Inverness Monday 25 March
Scotland is a close Arctic neighbour, linked through culture, geography and history to the world's northernmost region. Over recent years, Scotland's cooperation and engagement with the Arctic has increased starkly due to a full realisation of our shared interests and common policy priorities. From tackling climate change to empowering rural communities, from encouraging sustainable growth to pursuing new research & innovation projects, the partnership between Scotland and the High North is becoming wider and more diverse. Thanks to a combination of long-standing ties and new collaborations, Scotland is establishing itself as the European gateway to the Arctic.
HIE is facilitating two sessions during the event - Business session and 'Young and Rural' workshop. The business session will be of particular interest to businesses looking for opportunities in the Arctic.
